Overview

All employees in Canada are entitled to a work place that is free from harassment and violence. However, such incidents can happen and may go unreported or unsupported. Many employees and employers who have experienced or witnessed work place harassment and violence are uncertain of next steps, fear reprisal, or are unsure if raising concerns or filing a notice of occurrence is warranted.  

This updated course will deepen your understanding of harassment and violence prevention requirements in federally regulated work places. It will outline the legislation that applies to employers regulated by the Canada Labour Code, Part II, and the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations, and will present you with examples so you can learn how to recognize, report, and respond to harassment and violence.
