Whether it's an in-person event, a webinar or virtual conference to our Regional Health & Safety Conference Series, Breakfast Briefings and more; WSPS provides a forum of knowledge sharing for all your learning and professional development needs.

PIP Fall H&S Conferences | Call for Speaker Proposals

We are now accepting submissions for Partners in Prevention Health & Safety Conference and Trade Show for Fall 2026. Submit your abstract for review via e-mail to conference@wsps.ca by February 28, 2026.

We are inviting speaker proposals in the following areas:
• Specific hazards, technical specialties and best practices (i.e. machine safety, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, warehouse and racking, etc.)
• Leadership and management
• Healthy workplaces (i.e. mental health, DEI, workplace culture etc.)
• Research in health and safety with clear practical outcomes and application

Day-to-Day Due Diligence for Supervisors Workshop

This workshop is designed to help supervisors integrate due diligence and compliance into their daily routines through practical, realistic strategies. Participants will gain a clear understanding of their legal obligations, explore ways to effectively manage worker (un)safe work practices and behaviours, and discover how Employers can better support their Supervisors to “show the work” that is being done to keep Workers safe. By focusing on integrating health and safety responsibilities rather than adding them on top of others, this session empowers supervisors to lead confidently and contribute to a safe and productive workplace.
