In our current landscape, many workers are now experiencing an increase in verbal abuse, threats of violence, sexual harassment, and racism from customers and sometimes from other staff. Mental health issues in the workplace are on the rise, and the associated costs are skyrocketing.

Paying attention to employees’ mental health can help organizations with absenteeism, productivity, and employee retention. Research confirms that over 40% of Canadians have experienced bullying, abuse, harassment, or discrimination in their workplaces.
