Overview

This new e-course features an improved look and functionality to enrich your learning experience.

All workers in Canada deserve a work place that is free from harassment and violence. However, such incidents can happen, and may go unreported or unsupported. Many employees and employers who have experienced or witnessed occurrences of work place harassment and violence are uncertain of next steps, fear reprisal, or are unsure if raising the issue or filing a complaint is warranted.

This course, specific for workers in the Canadian federal jurisdiction, will help deepen your understanding of this issue, and will review reporting and supportive measures. It will outline the legislation that applies to employers regulated by the Canada Labour Code, Part II, and will present you with relevant examples that illustrate the multiple characteristics of harassment and violence so you can learn how to minimize and prevent occurrences.
