From October 31 to December 28, 2022, the MLITSD is conducting an enforcement initiative focusing on the prevention of occupational disease. In industrial workplaces, the focus of the initiative will be on awareness and prevention of exposure to crystalline silica.
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is conducting a Healthy Workers in Healthy Workplaces initiative in all sectors to focus on the prevention of occupational disease. In industrial workplaces, the focus of the initiative will be on awareness and prevention of exposure to crystalline silica.
The initiative focused on prevention of occupational disease and silica exposure is running from October 3 to December 30, with focused inspections beginning on October 31st, 2022.
This webinar, jointly provided by the MLITSD and Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS), will provide valuable information to help you und your workplace better understand designated substances and the prevention of exposure to crystalline silica.
