This course introduces owners and managers to the types of health and safety problems that can occur in small businesses. It offers practical information and tips regarding strategies to identify hazards and manage risks and describes how to develop a health and safety program including emergency planning and hazard management. The course also includes extensive lists of free resources available from health and safety organizations. The course features case studies, review quizzes, and "Ask a Question". Those who score at least 80% on the final exam will be able to print a certificate of completion.
