Certification is a two-step training process. Part Two builds on what you've learned in Part One and is the final step to becoming a certified member of a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). Committee members become certified after completing BOTH Part One and Part Two training.
This training meets the learning objectives outlined in the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) JHSC Certification Training Program Standard, which took effect on March 1, 2016.

NOTE: Due to requirements of the current JHSC Certification Training Standards, JHSC members need to complete Part Two within 12 months of taking Part One, or they will be required to repeat the Part One training in order to be certified.
Part Two must be completed within 1 year of Part One JHSC Training. If JHSC Part 2 training is not completed within 12 months of completing JHSC Part 1 training, JHSC Part 1 training must be completed again.
As per the guidelines from the MLITSD, JHSC training follows specific standards. It is not available as a self-paced eCourse program.
JHSC Part 2 is only available via virtual training at specific dates/times.
