Workplace violence and harassment policies have been a requirement in the workplace, for over 10 years. Ensuring that your policies and programs are in place and effective, is more important than ever.
In our current landscape, many workers are now experiencing an increase in verbal abuse, threats of violence, sexual harassment, and racism from customers and sometimes from other staff.
A WSPS Consultant will facilitate the 3 hour Violence and Harassment: Situational Awareness and De-Escalation course during the first half of the Day of Learning.

The afternoon session will begin with a keynote discussion featuring the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. Local community partners will then share valuable resources and information to participants which will help build their programs and ensure their workplaces are safe - both physically and psychologically.
