This training focuses on how the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) works; how all members of the workplace have a legal role and responsibility in ensuring the health and safety of an organization and its workers; how policies and procedures can reinforce the implementation of a health and safety program; and how to implement a hazard management system to ensure all hazards are managed and addressed, including high priority industry specific hazards and near misses.
The intent of this training program is for greenhouse organizations to adopt controls to address identified root causes noted in the IRARCA report, such as - reporting near misses, fit for duty policies, preventative maintenance programs, the internal responsivity system and change management.
