Training Overview

Robots can perform dangerous, demanding and dirty jobs that are unsafe or impossible for people to perform. They are increasingly being used to improve productivity, quality and global competitiveness. Robots can introduce significant hazards if they are not properly safeguarded during operation or locked out during maintenance and repair and if proper precautions are not exercised when operated under manual control. These hazards can result in serious injuries such as amputations or death and costly liabilities for companies.

The purpose of this half-day course is to provide learners with the knowledge to recognize, assess and control risks related to the hazards of industrial robots and robot systems.
