Outsourcing work to contractors is a common workplace practice. Do you know your health and safety responsibilities as they relate to hiring outside contractors? It is important to ensure that contractors do not create unnecessary risks to themselves, to employees or to the public while performing their work.
The focus of Construction in Industrial establishments segment will be on applicable definitions such as "constructor", "construction" and "project". It will also assist the learner in gaining a better insight into determining what and when a project is being undertaken and what the legislated site requirements are that need to be implemented.
