Developed in collaboration with Landscape Ontario, this landscaping industry booklet is an educational resource that a supervisor can use to highlight key health and safety information.
It provides information on dozens of the most common hazards in the landscaping industry along with best practices for working safely. The booklet is a compilation of safety talks; each tailgate talk is actually an on-site conversation facilitated by the supervisor or crew lead to increase awareness of 62 health and safety hazards.
Content also includes a roles and responsibilities chart, hazard and PPE symbols and definitions, information on compliance with the OHSA, tips and other helpful resources to support delivery in the workplace.
