It is the employer's duty to provide a healthy and safe workplace for all employees. As such, employers have the duty to investigate, record, and report all accidents, including occurrences of harassment and violence.

This course is intended for designated recipients and employers in federally regulated work places. It discusses the specific duties of the employer, including policy development, investigation techniques, processes, and program evaluation and the role of the designated recipient. It will help you apply the Canada Labour Code, Part II, including the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations so you can be prepared to prevent and respond to harassment and violence in your work place.

Harassment and Violence Prevention for Managers and Committees/Representatives is intended for work place representatives, such as supervisors, managers, and committee members. It provides an overview of the responsibilities and duties of work place representatives in preventing harassment and violence in federally regulated work places.

This course is delivered as an on-line e-learning course. All you need is a computer, access to the Internet - and you are ready to go! This e-learning course is designed to help you learn at your own pace and in your own environment at your own convenience.
